Recently, Kawada Aircraft and Mechanical Systems Division joined the Humanoid Robotics Project (HRP) sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Economic, Trade, and Industry's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The humanoid robot is being developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) „ the individual governmental corporation is responsible for total specification design with Kawada handling robot hardware and fabrication. |
